VulpShift terms of use

Terms for downloading and using the free macOS app and for optional user accounts.

Save terms as TXT

1. Provider and contact

The service provider and licensor is Dark Fox Kamil Kmetyk, Biała Góra 107, 97-505 Dobryszyce, Poland, tax identification number (NIP) 5941594885. This is also the correspondence and complaints address. Contact: kontakt@darkfox.pl.

The website operates at https://vulpshift.byfox.eu. VulpShift is an application supplied as a download for Mac.

2. Free availability

Downloading and using the currently supplied VulpShift version is free for personal and business use. No payment, card details, subscription or user account is required. A free download does not create an order or invoice.

A free download creates no obligation to pay later. Any future paid products or versions would require a separate, explicit decision by the user. Later offer changes do not introduce charges for a free version already received.

3. Downloads and requirements

Public downloads provide the currently published stable release. If no file is available yet, the website indicates this. Test builds may be limited to assigned accounts. Keep your own installer copy; indefinite hosting of every archived release is not guaranteed.

The website requires a current browser and internet access. The app requires macOS 12 or later, an Intel or Apple Silicon Mac and permission to access the relevant drives. Backups require enough storage outside the device being erased.

Formatting and image writing erase data on the selected device. Check the target and keep an independent backup of important files before confirming. Checksums help detect errors but do not replace independent backups or guarantee functioning hardware.

4. Licence and updates

We grant a free, non-exclusive licence without a fixed end date to use the supplied app version on Macs owned or controlled by the user, for personal and business purposes. Rights to the software remain with their respective holders. Third-party licences and notices remain included with the app and govern those components.

We do not promise indefinite development or all future products. Current features, requirements and limitations are described on the product page. Nothing in these terms restricts update obligations or other rights arising under mandatory applicable law.

5. Optional accounts

An account is optional and may provide access to assigned test builds. Registration requires a name, email, password and acceptance of these terms. Account access requires email verification and essential session cookies. Do not share passwords or disrupt the website.

You may request account closure at any time, free of charge, at kontakt@darkfox.pl. Closure removes assigned test access but does not prevent public stable downloads. It does not erase records we must retain by law.

6. Ending use and reporting problems

You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. Account closure is a separate action. We collect no payment for a free download, so there is no price to refund.

Send problems and complaints to kontakt@darkfox.pl or the provider’s postal address. Describe the issue, app version and requested remedy. Remove private data before attaching logs. We respond to consumer complaints within 14 days. Free availability and disk-operation warnings do not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Privacy and earlier contracts

The footer privacy policy explains personal data, technical logs and optional analytics. Public downloads require neither an account nor analytics consent. Current free downloads do not initiate Stripe payments.

Any earlier paid contract remains governed by its original terms, including complaint and withdrawal rights. This change does not remove those rights. The previous terms dated 19 October 2026 are available on request using the contact address.

8. Final provisions

You may save these terms as TXT or print them. Changes do not remove rights to a version already received or mandatory legal protections. Polish law applies while preserving mandatory consumer protections under the law of habitual residence. Consumers may seek assistance from consumer ombudsmen or the European Consumer Centres Network. Alternative dispute resolution information: https://polubowne.uokik.gov.pl. Access to courts remains unaffected.
